At Mindful Behavior Connections LLC, we believe every child deserves to learn, grow and develop in an individualized, supportive environment.
Our mission is to provide children and families access to enriched environments, therapeutic care, and parenting support. We focus on helping children develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively as they learn skills essential for play, relationships, and beyond.
We value our clients' diverse ideas, cultures, and perspectives. We aim to create an inclusive and welcoming environment that encourages everyone to be themselves.
We follow the latest research on parenting and child development. We use data and evidence-based practices to bring about socially significant growth.
Young children learn about the environment and develop their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social skills through play-based exploration. We offer naturalistic services that encourage play and creative expression.
We understand that meaningful, consistent and responsive relationships are fundamental to every child’s development. We teach parents techniques they can use with their child to improve their connection, enhance their development and increase their participation in routines and everyday activities.
Your experience matters to us. We always go above and above to ensure your family is supported and successful.
We keep our caseload small in order to provide you with the attention and quality of care you deserve. Our services are delivered directly by an experienced BCBA. We provide person-centered care, individualizing our approaches based on your child’s needs and their responsiveness to our programs.
Greetings and welcome! I'm Ashley Walls, the founder of Mindful Behavior Connections LLC (MBC). As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS) with over a decade of experience in working with children and families facing special needs, I'm excited to introduce myself.
My passion for helping parents understand and connect with their unique child's motivated me to start MBC. Over the years, I've engaged in meaningful conversations with parents concerned about their child's development and challenging behaviors. Through MBC, my goal is to provide families with the tailored care and attention they deserve to address these concerns.
As a BCBA, my expertise lies in applying ABA strategies that nurture essential life skills, including talking to others, learning new things, managing emotions and adapting to new situations. I use a naturalistic approach to intervention and center treatment activities around the child's interests and strengths.
If you're seeking guidance regarding your child's communication, play, or cooperation skills, I'm here to support you through the assessment process and help you navigate the services your child may need. Your child's growth and development are at the heart of our mission at MBC.
